Q: What I need to do to increase horse power in a 2010 Challenger SRT8?
I would like to increase the horse power in my Challenger SRT8. What are the things I need to do this. I really don’t know all the options I have. Thanks for your answers.

A: add a programmer to it first before you make any major changes to it,that’s the best thing you can add to it to start with,then see how that helps it,trowing parts at it isn’t going to make it run any better unless all the parts work with each other rather than against their self,good luck

A: truth is the mustang is lighter and has it beat,unless they lighten the challenger up some the times will be slower on it than the mustang,good luck.

Im looking at buying a car soon. Beemers have always been my choice of vehicles, however the camaro & challenger caught my eye.

What car would you recommend and why?
A: I’m a huge fan of the Challenger and Camaro, I think they are hot with great V8’s. But, for a little more, getting a 335 is a whole different ball game. The 335 is just incredible, after driving both for 1000 miles, you’ll be glad you got the 335.

Q: I have a Challenger SRT8 it has a 6.1 and I want to take it to the next level what would you recommend?
A: It really all depends on how much you want to spend.
You can get a pretty solid HP boost for relatively cheap by upgrading the Exhaust system (Corsa is usually pretty solid) and your Intake. Combine that with a T-stat and a tune, and that will probably get your best bang for your buck.
Higher end solutions would be replacing the headers or putting a supercharger in it…but that can get expensive.
Q: what rental car place can give me a good deal on renting a 2009 challenger srt8?
A: none,there’s no places that i know of right now that are buying those cars and renting them,they know if they rented it they probably wouldn’t get it back in the same shape it left out in or get it back at all,i doubt we see many of those for rent anytime soon,good luck.

A: Because Challenger is a more authentic “muscle car” reincarnation.

A: yes right now it is,if you wait a while though like don said it will be cheaper,right now though the mark up is very high on those,and all are mostly spoken for that are being built right now,their already back ordered,good luck.
Q: Is the Challenger R/T good enough or should I get the SRT8?
performance wise. Since the car is pretty heavy will the R/T be good enough? The good thing about the R/T is that it only needs 87 octane, whereas the SRT8 needs 91 octane. And it also has a Multi-Displacement System, and SRT8 doesn’t. but does the Multi-Displacement System kill performance?
A: Compare performance of a Charger with the same engines, and you’ll have your answer.
A good way to look at things is to get a regular Challenger SE or R/T, enjoy it without being killed by gas prices, and then in 2 years, sell it and get an SRT, which by then will be better, and also will have the option of a stick.

A: Don’t even go by that dealer price with all the markups at our dealership the price is at $45,000 for a Camaro. For that price you can buy a corvette and if your not worried about back seats then that is the way to go(back seats in Camaros are almost worthless anyways). Anyways it seems like the camaro is a better quality car, fast, and awesome interior. I would rather buy the corvette though.

No way for the 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 to match with that crude 6.1L SRT HEMI V8 they’re gonna put in. Will Chrysler see 2010?
Q: what is faster the 1970 challenger rt or the new challenger rt or srt8?
A: if set up right the old school challenger would be ,but with all the new electronics and the updated transmission with extra gears the new one would probably beat the old school one on top end,i have drove a few of each though and there’s no comparison of the new one to the old feel of the old challenger,i also owned one back in 1973,good luck.

Which one should I get?
A: Hard to say.
The Mustang GT KR is best handling and lightest, and it is as fast as the SRT’s.
The Camaro SS accelerates fastest with a 0-60mph time of 4.7 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds better than the Mustang GT500KR and SRT’s.
And then the SRT-8’s have the highest top speeds since they are not limited to 155mph. They reach 170mph.
By the way, the SRT’s have the same HP, torque, engines, and performance as each other, as well as the Chrysler 300c SRT-8 and Dodge Magnum SRT-8.
I would go with the Camaro or Mustang. They are the best performing and most fun to drive overall.
Q: can i put an challenger SRT8 exhaust on my Challenger R/T?
Okay so i have a challegner R/T and i love it but ive been wanting to put on a new exhaust. and my friend has an SRT8 and that exhaust is so loud and beautiful. i love it is it possible to get that same exhaust on my car? or at the very least that sound?
help me out here…get the beautiful soundingSRT8 exhaust or a new exhaust from a company..but if you suggest company please name the company and make sure that exhaust would be just as great as the SRT8 sound
A: no,the srt-8 has a specially designed exhaust system just for the hemi engine,and it probably wouldn’t work on your car,good luck.
