Q: How much does the 2010 Ford Mustang GT cost?
And what’s the difference between the 2010 gt model and the 2008 gt model? I assume that the 2008 is cheaper because the model is older, but I want to know which one has a better engine, etc.. And if you know how much the 2008 model costs too, that would be helpful too.

A: Just wait till 2011 they will have a 400 hp soyote engine (85 more hp than 2005-2010) and order it offline. It is way cheaper to order the car from ford.com than buy it from a dealership. I made my own car on ford.com and it only cost like 28,000 for a new mustang gt compared to one that had les at a ford dealership and was 35,000. Plus if you order offline, you get the paint color you want, the interior color/options you want, and everything else you want for cheaper. :) i think Dealerships order them then charge extra to make a profit. But the 208 is different than the 2010 as far as body style goes. And a couple interior changes, other than that, i think the engines are the same

Q: What would you add to 2010 Ford Mustang GT?
New 2010 ford Mustang GT is out, what would you add to it if you could? How much are you willing to pay for it? (imagine you are a rich person if you cannot afford it) Please keep it realistic!!!

A: Not much appearance-wise.. I’d order it in bright red, loaded with all options including the glass roof. Tint the windows, get chrome bullitt wheels, and then I’d also swap in the 6.2 engine. No replacement for displacement. This would not be my daily driver. I’d have either the new Taurus or Fusion Hybrid for that.

Q: When can i go look and possibly test drive a new 2010 ford mustang gt?
I have seen on the internet and heard from people that the release date of the 2010 ford mustang gts is april 18th. I thought that was very early. If anyone can give me a for sure on that date or if you have a for sure on another i would really appreciate it. THANKS :)

A: When the car gets to your local dealer I’m sure they will be happy to let you drive it. Bigger dealers will get the cars 1st so call around.

Q: What are the pros and cons of a 2010 Ford Mustang GT?
I’m thinking of getting a Mustang, within a couple days, and I was wondering what are the pros and cons for the people that own one or driven one.

A: a 2010 compared to a 2011 (which recently come out) is phenomenal.

2011 GT, A bigger v8, 100 more horsepower, 100 more lbs torque, better hadling, better trasmissions (6 speeds), better fuel economy.

Q: Now that the 2010 Ford Mustang GT’s are out, how much can i purchase a new 2009 model for?
I cannot stand the 2010’s just plain out ugly.

A: I disagree with you about the looks of the ’10’s.
You can expect to get a $2000 to $3000 discount on the ’09’s, depending on the options and the time of the month. Dealers are anxious at the end of the month to make deals, so go shopping then. Don’t jump at the first good offer from the salesman. Play hard to get. If the price he presents is close to what you want to spend, refuse it anyway and get up and walk out of the showroom. Odds are they will not let you leave. Do your homework and shop online before you go to the dealership.

Q: If your buying a 2010 Ford Mustang GT what is better automatic or manual?
Do you think the automatic lacks anything? Any experiences?

A: If you are going to be lame and buy an automatic, get the V6.
The automatic lacks the ability to be a true sports/muscle car.

Q: does anybody know when the 2010 ford mustang gt hit the market?
Just wondering because am not sure if I should wait for it or get a 09 accord coupe!

A: The 2010 Mustang ordering guides have recently (Nov. 19, 2008) been released to Ford dealers.
Brochures are not yet available to the public but Dealers are beginning to place their orders.
Production has not yet begun.

The new Mustang is scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2009.

Personally I would wait for the Mustang …rather than buying the Accord… The Mustang is so much more exciting!

Q: What car should I buy the 09 accord coupe or wait for the 2010 mustang gt?
I was planning on buying a 09 accord coupe but now since I saw the new 2010 ford mustang GT that’s going to come next year, I don’t know if I should get the accord or wait to get the 2010 mustang! My only CONCERN about the mustang is the GAS!!

A: I bet an 09 Accord will be worth more than a 2010 mustang.
Once Ford makes a million of them, you will be able to buy them
pretty cheap. The Accord is a good value!

I always loved mustangs. I wanted to know how much they usually cost. also, I like porches. I know their expensive but i don’t know how much they cost. can u give me an estimate on both cars?

A: Wow. Um a new mustang gt starts at $25,000 and if you add all the extras you are looking at around $35,000. Now a porche is expensive. I think the cheapest is around 40,000 but its pointless and not worth it. The 911 is what you want and I think that is around 60,000-70,000 not too sure

Q: How much horsepower does a 2010 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 v8 have?
I’ve seen 520 which can’t be true and 350 which I’m not sure. Can’t find it anywhere.

A: The answer is 0. There is no 2010 5.0L. The 5.0L comes out for the 2011 model year. It is rated at 412hp and I think 380ft-lb, but has made on a chassis dyno (device that measures power at the tires) roughly 380-390hp, which translates to anywhere from 430-450hp at the crank (engine). Ever since the 1999 Cobra issue, they have underrated the power output of their engines.

Q: I was deciding on what to buy a 2010 ford mustang gt silver w/blk racing stripes and hood scoop?
What should i buy a hard top or convertible i don’t like the convertible roof but maybe it will still look good in convertible with the top on
Or should i go for the KILL and get the COBRA that cost around 15,000 more even though it will kill on payments

A: Buy the Coupe but get the Glass roof!

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.enacre.net

Q: difference between 2010 ford mustang gt, and 2010 ford mustang base (v6)?
obviously the base one is cheaper, i know that. but it also has one exhaust pipe instead of 2 rite? the gt has 2 exhaust pipes?.
and there is an HP difference between the base v6 and the gt rite?
and also, im in high school, just turned 18 years old. i mite get a new car. which one is more better to get for the money? a gt? or just normal base?
is it also true that the gt has a top speed of 140mph on the speedometers? and the base v6 mustang has a top speed of ONLY 120mph on the speedometer?

A: The GT will be more fun to drive but since your 18 get the base for insurance cost

A: Middle of the year. But I would hold out for the 2011 model with the new 5.0L DOHC, 6.2L SOHC, and EcoBoost twin turbo engines.
